Resources and Services Available to the Public

The Hanford Technical Library's open stack collections of books, journals, standards and reference tools may be accessed by all. Many of the HTL's electronic research tools - databases, journals, books, encyclopedias, standards and codes - are also available to the public and may be accessed and used from public computers in the Library.

The Hanford Technical Library's Information Specialists/librarians are available for quick reference and research assistance.

The Hanford Technical Library staff offer a number of classes for electronic resources and library services. Product demonstrations are typically provided for the library's primary community (see Background) but are often held in the library's classroom and are open and available to the public and to the library's Individual and Business Account holders. A current schedule of demonstrations can be found on the library's homepage.
